Natural Slug Protection That Really Works

Protect your plants from slugs and snails naturally with our Wool Slug Pellets, made on our family farm from 100% British sheep wool.

When watered, the pellets expand and felt together to form a protective barrier around the base of your plants. This barrier is made up of thousands of tiny wool fibres that are naturally abrasive, helping to deter slugs and snails from reaching vulnerable stems and leaves.

Why Gardeners Choose Wool Slug Pellets

  • ✓ Naturally deters slugs and snails
  • ✓ Safe around pets, children and wildlife
  • ✓ Contains no chemicals or metaldehyde
  • ✓ Suitable for flowers, vegetables and herbs
  • ✓ Long-lasting and easy to apply

How To Use

Simply place a ring of pellets approximately 10cm wide around the base of your plant and water lightly.

The pellets will quickly felt together to create a natural protective barrier that can last for several weeks.

Coverage:

  • 100g mixed with 4 litres of compost for pots and containers
  • 1kg covers approximately 2.5m² of flower beds and borders

More Than Just Slug Protection

Unlike traditional slug pellets, our wool pellets actively improve your soil while protecting your plants.

Retains Moisture Naturally

Wool can absorb up to 10 times its weight in water and slowly release it back into the soil as conditions become drier.

This helps reduce watering, improves drought resilience and creates a healthier growing environment for your plants.

Natural Slow-Release Fertiliser

As the wool breaks down, it releases valuable nutrients including nitrogen and potassium directly into the soil, helping to support strong roots, healthy foliage and vigorous growth.

Made From Pure British Sheep Wool

Every pellet is produced on our family farm using nothing but 100% natural British sheep wool.

The wool is heat sterilised and compressed into nutrient-rich pellets with absolutely nothing added.

No chemicals. No pesticides. No fillers.

Just pure sheep wool.

Environmentally Friendly

  • ✓ Peat-free
  • ✓ Plastic-free
  • ✓ Biodegradable
  • ✓ Packed in compostable bags

When the pellets have finished their job, they simply break down naturally into the soil.
