Our Natural Wool Slug Pellets are made from 100% British sheep wool and offer a simple, soil-friendly way to protect young plants from slugs and snails.

When watered, the pellets expand to form a natural wool barrier around the base of your plants. Slugs and snails dislike travelling over the dry, fibrous texture, helping to reduce damage without using harsh chemical slug pellets.

They do more than protect plants. Wool naturally helps soil hold onto moisture, which is especially useful in pots, containers, raised beds and dry spells. As the pellets slowly break down, they add organic matter back into the soil.

Use them around seedlings, vegetables, flowers, hostas, dahlias, strawberries and other plants that are often targeted by slugs. Apply as a ring around individual plants, mix into compost for pots, or spread across beds using the guide above.

Top up after heavy rain or when the wool has naturally settled into the soil.
